Initially when i booked the room online i recieved a confirmation however due to some reason i asked the reservation to cancel prior a day. The lady cancelled my booking and confirmed that its not charged. After a while she called back and said its going to be charged one full night. I wasted half a day on this issue and when i arrived it was already Evening time. Therefore I had no activity to do except to watch TV, eat and sleep ! I also ordered for breakfast in the morning, which was not exactly what i ordered, there was coffee instead of tea!

No service around pool area - struggled to get a drink while sat outside Very limited choice of food in restaurant and Dalma menu exactly the same as hotel menu despite being 6km apart Bounty bar very noisy with loud Indian music playing even in early evening in middle of week Mini bar was never re-stocked with drinks during my 6 night stay despite 2 requests to have it re-stocked My Room not up to the expected quality of a Golden Tulip hotel with paint flaking off the wall Overall impression is that the hotel is run down and below par for a Golden Tulip hotel

I booked 2 rooms on your web site for 406 DHS inclusive of taxes & breakfast the following morning. It is hard to beat a bargain like this in the UAE these days.Rooms had been refurbished with nice details and the large terrace for each room is now becoming a rarity. Bathrooms and linen also of a good quality.Service around the pool bar was slow / non-existent and we kept having to go and find a waiter to serve us in the main restaurant. Check in and check out also took a long time, suggest that reception staff need some help with their understanding of English.We ate at the poolside and in the main restaurant and had large portions and good quality tasty food that was freshly prepared and well presented. Overall an excellent weekend.

I stayed at the Golden Tulip Al Jazira hotel for several weeks in December 2009 and January 2010. I found this hotel to be a very convenient and pleasurable place to stay. The staff are all genuinely friendly & helpful. The hotel has a picturesque setting and provides a quiet and relaxing environment. My room was comfortable and well appointed with a balcony and scenic outlook. The Bounty Bar live band was always enjoyable. The Golden Tulip Al Jazira is now my first choice for accommodation in Abu Dhabi.
